  Members-only community pool. Residents of “Olney Mill” have some degree of priority in the membership queue, but I don’t think non-residents have had too arduous a time getting membership in recent years. Keep in mind, though, new member demand is a little different every year, so YMMV.
  
  I wouldn’t say membership is a bargain, but it gets more economical the more often you (& your family) go.
  
  There are decided advantages to a community pool over a home pool — particularly social benefits from getting out & meeting people.
  You’ll never get a sense of community by staying home in your back yard, especially after you put up a 6-foot privacy fence around it.
